While the button placement is similar to last year’s Edge 30 neo as exactly, no changes seen with this year’s Edge 40 neo.

Colors

For the color options, you get a few new color palettes from the Pantone color tone, and all of them look soothing except the black one, which is just common. While the other three look very natural in hands, with the Soothing sea, Caneel bay and a Peach fuzz.

Build

Now, the newer Edge 40 neo comes in a larger shape and size. While last year’s model was 152.9 mm in height, this year, Motorola made the device a bit taller by about 159.6mm height, making it around 10% taller compared to last year.

There’s also changes seen in the overall weight of the device, which is around 15 grams more weight, making it around 170 grams compared to last year’s 155 grams which was quite a lighter hand feel. But a 170 gram device is still light, so no need to worry about it.

You also get greater built quality this year, with the Edge 40 neo, like the Gorilla Glass 3 and newly included water protection of course. Thankfully, Motorola thought of the water protection this year, which was absent for last year’s model. And now you get IP68 dust and water resistant, which is amazing to get protection in water for 30 minutes for up to 1.5 meters. So don’t go diving with it, that wouldn’t be appropriate!

Motorola Edge 40 Neo: Display [ps2id id=’3′ target=”/]

6.55’’ AMOLED Panel (144Hz)

144Hz Refresh Rate

90.1% screen-to-body ratio

Coming to the display section, you get brand new upgrades right here, from display quality to slimmer curves, all things are really appreciating.
