Nothing Phone (2) News: Leaks Confirmed! by Nothing Themselves

Back in January 2023, Nothing CEO Carl Pei confirmed in an event in India, that a more premium Nothing Phone (2) in the second half of 2023. And as it was spotted on the Indian BIS certification authority website, suggesting a near lunch in the country with a model number goes by AIN065, making the rumors not fake anymore.

Although the BIS listing didn’t disclose any specific details about the device’s features, although it is expected that the device will have a 120Hz refresh rate, an AMOLED display along with an FHD+ resolution.

At the Mobile World Congress 2023 held in Barcelona last month, Nothing and Qualcomm unveiled that the Phone (2) will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 series chipset. Interestingly, an accidental post by Alex Katouzian from Qualcomm revealed that the Nothing phone (2) chipset comes with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The Phone (2) is anticipated to feature a maximum of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity. It is also likely to include a 5,000mAh battery with support for both 67W fast charging and wireless fast charging.

 

Nothing Phone (2): Release Updates & Price

The new Twitter photo suggests a RED blinking indicator along with the most unique and new back design of the Nothing phone (1) is also available in the Nothing phone (2).

While there is no actual date for the Nothing phone 2’s release date. Although Nothing did declare on their events page that the phone is arriving in the summer of 2023. This leaves us again wondering and curious about what nothing is planning to bring, whether it a just a new phone or something more.

As for the cost, the Nothing phone (2) price is still unconfirmed, but the device is expected to be launched in the US markets as well and will have a higher price than the Nothing phone (1) of 32,999 rupees, which was released in India as their base model.
